After I discovered Debbie from andsew4th and the fantastic Christmas Stockings she has made, (she also does great YouTube lessons on them) I have been addicted.
I am even teaching a couple of classes at Kate's now for other ladies who like them!!
Here is my latest one just finished, now we are all waiting for the little girl to arrive (should be next few weeks - stay tuned)
With all the sequins, it takes me back to making dancing costumes for my daughter, many moons ago.
I love her little face, she looks so sweet with those long eyelashes (just like mine haha)
She is surrounded by all sorts of lollies, there's gingerbread men, cupcakes, bonbons, cookies and of course candy canes.

There is just one thing that needs to be finished......her name needs to be embroidered onto a cupcake which will hang off the side, but we need to wait until she is born to find that out !!!

How exciting - can't wait to see that cupcake! I love these stockings, and yours is beautiful. My DIL's mother (who had 6 children) made these for her many grandchildren, sons-in-law, and daughters-in-law, and they are all gorgeous.

I'm so behind on blog reading...what a treat to check in with yours today! Thanks for the nice link to my blog. I love your stocking. I am hoping to actually finish an advent calendar and one more stocking before Christmas...oh...and I just realized I have several stocking fronts done but didn't finish adding the backings to actually complete the stockings...oops! I guess it wouldn't really seem like the Christmas season unless I had more planned than I could possibly accomplish! I'm so glad you are sharing (corrupting) with others. Even though there is an adorable picture of the finished stocking on the kit package...each one always has its own special look when it's finished.
